Angel Olsen hails from St. Louis Missouri, but is now residing in Asheville North Carolina. As of now, Olsen has recorded six albums, including Half Way Home Burn Your Fire for No Witness My Girl All Mirrors Whole New Mess, and Big Time. She has an incredible capacity to take care of children. (On her parents' daughter, who were her guardians since when she was born. In Big Time the first album on which Olsen sings consciously about queer desire she turns into a genre with a strong tradition that is called country. This makes sense.
